Persatuan Pelajar-Pelajar Melayu Sydney(PPMS) which is an abbreviation for Sydney Malay Students Association, and is dedicated to strengthen the ties among Malay students currently studying in Sydney. PPMS' objective is to promote unity and understanding among each other hence flourishing Malaysia cultural, Islamic life style and events regarding to Malays. PPMS is a non profit organisation under the advisory of Malaysian Student Department of Australia (MSDA). As written under the PPMS constitution, the association is a non-political party, thus opening its membership to anyone. PPMS' aim is to assist Malay students to ease anxiety faced by Malay students as they get suited to the life down under. PPMS activities generally consist of three elements which is the studentsÂ’ welfare, academic, and sports and leisure. In addition to that, PPMS hopefully could establish a platform between the students and the Malaysian Student Department of Australia. PPMS also organises activities such as seminars and educational activities, providing valuable informations and advices regarding to studies hence giving the opportunity to improve personal skills which would benefits for future purposes. PPMS also conduct sports and leisure activities to help students to cope with stresses after the semester examination.
